Scuba diving

100 m away from an entrance to the port Vrbnik there is Vrbnik cave, cca. 20 m deep and wide enough to enter more divers at the same time. In the cave are permanently inhabited specimens of crabs, octopus, snails and shellfish.

Wakeboarding and waterskiing

Ski lift Dunat is located 10 minutes away from town Vrbnik by car. Ski lift with restaurant, board shop and sunbathing terrace will offer you a pleasant stay with relaxing summer atmosphere. Wakeboard Cable Krk is 650 m long and is suitable for both beginners and experienced boarders. Sailing, boat and fishing excursions

Spending a beautiful day at the sea can be unforgettable active vacation experience. Only 10 km away in marina Punat you can rent all kind of yachts, sailing boats etc. If you prefer fishing, go to the port of town Krk and take a fishing trip.

Hiking

Number of  pleasant walking trails, which will steer your thoughts far away from everyday worries are in immediate vicinity of Vrbnik and on the island of Krk. Around 300 kilometers of walking trails have been set up and marked on the island of Krk. Obzova (570 m) is on the highest spot of the island.

Cycling

Cycling has lately become popular on the Island of Krk. Most of the walking trails can also be used for cycling. “Spring on wheels” and “I love the autumn –Bodul bike”  are events, which promote Krk’s cycling routes through recreational bike race.

Horseback riding

20 km away from Vrbnik, near village Njivice you can enjoy in pure nature and practice horseback riding. It is suitable for everyone, beginners and experienced horseback riders. You can experience the island of Krk through a journey on horseback. Great way to connect with horses and nature and also effective therapy.

Camino route on Krk

150 kilometers. 7 days. 21 km a day on average. Those are the numbers for all hikers who wish to have the full Camino Krk experience. The stages of the route include: Krk town-Brzac, Brzac-Malinska, Malinska-Omišalj, Omišalj-Čižići, Čižići-Vrbnik, Vrbnik-Baška, Baška-Kornić. Whether you do the entire journey or just one stage is entirely up to you.
